PCIGR partners with Nu Instruments

PCIGR is pleased to announce a joint venture with Nu instruments Ltd. (UK), a market-leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance mass spectrometers. 

PCIGR’s newly completed ~$7.5 million UBC facility has been named “nUBC” to commemorate the partnership. The custom-built, 2200 sq. ft. laboratories will house four Nu Instruments mass spectrometers and become an important demonstration facility and research and development centre. 

As part of this new collaboration, PCIGR and Nu Instruments recently partnered on a >$2.4 million grant proposal to develop a student training program in geochemistry.
